Nissan Nuvu Electric Compact Pics

Japanese automakers brought to the international motor show in Paris something that according to Nissan, will become a car of tomorrow. Tiny concept with toy appearance bears the name Nuvu and proudly does not pollute atmosphere.





The electric motor is powered from a set of laminated lithium-ion-type batteries mounted under the seats, which are charged from dozen small leaves shaped solar panels located on the glass roof.

Nissan Nuvu comes with a rear electric motor that drives the rear wheels offering a driving range of 125 km and top speed of 120 km/h.

Nissan hopes to flood U.S. and Japan markets with Nuvu production version in 2010.
