New Lexus IS 250 Convertible Coupe Cabriolet

Lexus unveiled Lexus IS 250C coupe-cabriolet based on the model IS 250 in Paris on Thursday. Car has inherited the hood design and elements such as the headlights, door handles and side mirrors from its sedan version. All other body panels have been changed. As a result, the total length of vehicles increased by 70 millimeters, but the doors are longer by 300 millimeters.







Designers paid special attention to the folding roof mechanism and body aerodynamics. As a result the hard three sections aluminum top folds in just 20 seconds, a rate of IS 250C air resistance with a raised roof is almost the same as a sedan - 0.29 compare to 0.27.

The V-6 2.5 liters 208 horsepower engine - cabriolet inherited from the IS 250, along with six speed automatic transmission.
